一、做形容词时,后面要加名词,但是第一句中的other在本句中是做代词,指代前面的car,做后面句子的主语,谓语是is,形容词White做句子的表示.代词本身就是一种特殊的名词,所以不用再后加名词.
第二句的other也是代词,做后面句子的主语,are做谓语.girls 是名词,做句子的表语.
二、Children 本身就是指“儿童”的一个整体名词,所以后面不用复数的s,直接加's表示所有格.
而teacher 是单数可数名词,其复数需要加s,复数的所有格需要在s后面再加’S表示所有格.
三、today's newspaper 可以表述为the newspaper of today ,但是不能表述为the newspaper of today's.因为of 已经表示所属,再用’S表示所属是多此一举.
